How
was born The meeting of Amaro Camatti, a Genoese liqueur produced by the Cinque Terre Distillery, and Gin Ginuensis, a distillate of pure Superb Spirit, gives birth to a bombshell of freshness, the most Genoese cocktail in history that quintessentially lifts your life: the Camallo.

INGREDIENTS

3 cl Amaro Camatti
3 cl gin Ginuensis
Pink grapefruit tonic top
How to prepare it
In an ice-filled collins pour the contents of one small bottle of Ginuensis and one of Camatti, then top the glass with pink grapefruit tonic and garnish with mint leaves to finish.

Kama Mati

CONCEPT
A tribute to old school mixology, this cocktail is a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic Hanky Panky featuring Amaro Camatti as the star ingredient, enhanced by the refined, delicate and yet unusual flavour of Sox gin.

INGREDIENTS
40ml Sox gin (1492 Coloniale group)
30ml Amaro Camatti
10ml Bitter Truth Pimento (Velier)

METHOD
Add all the ingredients to a shaker and mix well. Serve straight up in a Nick&Nora glass. Garnish with a touch of lemon juice squeezed from the fruit peel.

El Siglo by Camatti

CONCEPT
My cocktail is named after an old Genoese currency, a tribute to local tradition. . Easy to drink, El Siglo by Camatti is easy to make and proves that bitters can be used in mixology, too! I purposefully selected a combination of simple ingredients for the recipe to be easy to make, allowing the iconic flavours of our tradition to be exported.

INGREDIENTS
20ml Dark Rum
40 ml Amaro Camatti
30ml lime juice
20ml almond milk syrup
3 drops Rhubarb liqueur

METHOD
Mix all the ingredients with ice, add rhubarb liqueur and serve in an elegant Nick&Nora glass.

Old Camatti

CONCEPT
Old but gold: with its unique aesthetics, the iconic Old Fashion featuring Amaro Camatti reminds of sea foam. In spite of its tricky recipe, Old Camatti aims at reinventing a sacred cow of mixology with a touch of Liguria.

INGREDIENTS
4cl Amaro Camatti
2cl Whiskey Bourbon
½ sugar cube
1 dash Angostura Bitter
A splash of soda
Herb-flavoured sea air
Garnish: Ligurian herbs, dry orange wedge, Maraschino cherry

METHOD
Add all the ingredients to the short tumbler where the cocktail will be served and stir well. For its iconic topping, create a foam using soybean lecithin and sugar. Garnish: herb leaves, dry orange wedge, and a Maraschino cherry.

Il gancio del mare

CONCEPT
Boxing and the sea represent two essential parts of my life. . Il gancio del mare is an authentic combination of energy and determination, named after the context it was designed for: a cocktail embodying the Camatti mood, ideal for athletes and very, very much ‘made in Liguria’. Aquafaba providing proteins, Amaro Camatti as a tonic, and a touch of honey mix for extra vitamins.

INGREDIENTS
5 cl Camatti
3cl freshly squeezed lemon juice
1.5cl honey mix
1.5cl sailor’s soup (red beans aquafaba and basil)
All shaken and served on the rocks.

METHOD
Shake all the ingredients with ice and serve on the rocks in a short tumbler. Garnish: orange wedge, basil leaves.

Camatti Grog

CONCEPT
This cocktail is inspired by the tiki mixing style dating back to the thirties, a combination of traditional Ligurian flavours and the exotic touch given by the other ingredients – a well-balanced mix of sweet, sour, and spicy flavours.

INGREDIENTS
30ml Dark Jamaican rum
30ml white Puerto Rican Rum
30ml Amaro Camatti
15ml ginger* honey syrup
15ml lemon juice
2 dashes Angostura

METHOD
Shake all the ingredients in the short tumbler where the cocktail will be served on the rocks. Garnish: decorate the glass with a banana leaf and add some lemon zest.

Pilla-Matti Spritz

CONCEPT
This 100% Italian cocktail is a real splash of freshness, easy to make and best enjoyed in summer. It is named after two unmistakable features of its: “Pilla”, as in the distillery which first produced Bitter Select, and “Matti”, as in… Camatti, of course.

INGREDIENTS
100ml Prosecco brut
40ml Bitter select
20ml ginger honey mix
15ml Amaro Camatti
2 drops green cardamom tincture
Clementine and bergamot soda
Garnish: orange wedge and rosemary sprig

METHOD
This cocktail is to be prepared in the stem glass where it will be served. Add Prosecco brut, Bitter Select, and honey mix. Add two drops of cardamom tincture. Now add Amaro Camatti and top it all with clementine and bergamot soda. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and an orange wedge. Serve with ice.

GLOBETROTTER

INGREDIENTS
2,5 cl. Amaro Camatti
2 cl. Rye Whiskey
2 cl. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1,5 cl. Mastiha Roots

METHOD
Pre-chill a shaker, fill it up with ice cubes and drain any excess water. Add in all the ingredients and shake well for 8/10 seconds. Double strain, wherever possible, in a very cold coupe Martini glass or, upon request, in a short tumbler glass with ice.

IL MATTACCHIONE

INGREDIENTS
3 cl. Amaro Camatti
2 cl. Vodka
1,5 cl. Sugar syrup
1 cl. freshly squeezed lime juice
1 cl. passion fruit purée

METHOD
Pre-chill a shaker, fill it up with ice cubes and drain any excess water. Add in all the ingredients and shake well for 8/10 seconds. If possible double strain in a very cold coupe glass or, upon request, in a short tumbler glass with ice. Double strain, wherever possible, in a very cold coupe Martini glass or, upon request, in a short tumbler glass with ice.

SCIROPPO DELLE ALPI

INGREDIENTS
4 cl. Amaro Camatti
1 cl. Alpicella
2 dash Angostura Bitter
2 barspoon spiced apple syrup

METHOD
Pre-chill a mug and drain any excess water. Add in all the ingredients, carefully blend them, and gradually add crushed ice (not pilé) until the mug is full.

Sprig of mint, slice of green apple, raspberry, dried orange wedge

UN TORINESE INSOLENTE

INGREDIENTS
2 cl. Amaro Camatti
3,5 cl. Red vermouth Antica Torino
0,5 cl. China Clementi
1 cl. Arquebuse Bernard
1 cl. Sangallo honey grappa

METHOD
Pre-chill a mixing glass and drain any excess water. Add in all the ingredients and gently stir until they are thoroughly blended and chilled. Strain in a short tumbler glass wherever possible, or a chunky cocktail glass.

LO SHAKERATO MATTO

INGREDIENTS
6 cl. Amaro Camatti
3/4 drops of vanilla liqueur
2 lemon peels

METHOD
Pre-chill the shaker, fill it with ice cubes and drain any excess water. Add in all the ingredients and shake well for 12/15 seconds.
Double strain, wherever possible, in a very cold coupe Martini glass or, upon request, in a short tumbler glass with ice.

MAD MULE

INGREDIENTS
6 cl. Amaro Camatti
1,5 cl. freshly squeezed lime juice
7,5 cl. Ginger Beer pref. Scortese

METHOD
Pre-chill a tumbler glass and fill it with dry ice.
Add in all the ingredients and gently stir them until they are thoroughly blended.

Garnish
A sprig of mint

INGREDIENTS
1.5cl vodka
1.5cl white rum
1,5 cl triple sec
1,5 cl gin
6 cl sweet e sour
